EDUCATION AND PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Experience: Industrial maintenance/electrical/plumbing/HVAC
  3. Required Certification: None
  4. Required License: Washington State Drivers License, proof of liability insurance to use personal vehicle and/or LHN Company vehicles for LHN business purposes.
  5. Other: Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred. Ability to work with culturally diverse population


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/COMPETENCIES

  1. Assist in inspection repair and installation of electrical panels and circuits and motors.
  2. Maintain indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures.
  3. Maintain indoor and outdoor plumbing / hot water.
  4. Working knowledge of all emergency power and utilities equip.
  5. Maintain records and logs in accordance with WISHA, OSHA, and JCAHO.
  6. Make repairs to sinks, toilets, faucets, walls, floors, ceilings, and painting.
  7. Maintenance HVAC equipment, pumps, med gas, energy plant.
  8. Working knowledge of disconnects and shut-offs including plumbing, electrical, sprinklers, and steam.
  9. Adheres to professional responsibilities.
  10. Performs general maintenance and repair duties of a semi-skilled nature to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Physical Plant.
  11. Uses independent judgment in assessing problems and devising work methods.
  12. Working knowledge of Personal Computers for email access, maintenance work orders and other electronic functions.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES/COMPETENCIES

  1. Participates in professional education, growth and development.
  2. Coordinates work orders with Dept. Schedule.
  3. Participates in hospital/staff meetings, committees, and projects as required
  4. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested


LOURDES HEALTH NETWORK REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES/COMPETENCIES

  1. Responsible for becoming knowledgeable and compliant with Department, Hospital, Fire/Safety/ Disaster, Educational requirements and Personnel Policies.
  2. Follow the Corporate Compliance Program and maintains confidentiality standard.


Wage: $21.33 - $27.73

This position is a safety sensitive position.
