Title: Building & Grounds Supervisor Senior: Bland Correctional Center State Role Title: Building and Grounds Supervisor Senior Hiring Range: $49,592 - $77,365 Pay Band: 4 Agency: Dept of Corr - Central Admin Location: Bland Correctional Center Agency Website: Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties Trains, supervises, schedules and prioritizes specific work assignments. Interprets work orders, blue prints or specifications. Inspect ongoing and completed work. Supervises inmate work crews. Supervises the HVAC Installation & Repair Supervisors, Electrician Supervisor, Plumber/Steamfitter Supervisor, Carpenter Supervisor and the Laundry Manager. Provides a safe and secure work environment. Operate and maintain the Total Maintenance System (TMS). Ensure work orders are assigned correctly. Orders materials and supplies using eVA and SWAM vendors. Minimum Qualifications Valid Drivers license. Skilled in the repair and maintenance of a variety of trades. Experience with supervision of others. Working with interpreting schematics and blueprints. Skill in using a computer. Skill in operating both hand and power tools. Physical requirements are walking, standing, sitting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, reaching, turning, climbing stairs and ladders, hearing, seeing, writing, counting, reading, speaking, operating a motor vehicle and moving/motorized equipment. Additional Considerations Technical training, certification, or advanced knowledge in the maintenance field. Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
