General Statement of Duties:

Primary responsibilities include the achievement of branch sales and profitability targets, maximizing operational integrity and raising the standard of the overall client experience. Plans, directs and organizes the sales and operation activities of the branch. Maintains communications between the branch and management.

Supervision Received:

Reports to the Area Manager

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop new and expand existing consumer and business account relationships within a branch to achieve financial objectives.
  • Lead the sales management of the branch to ensure attainment of sales goals.
  • Actively manage sales process activities including customer profiling, customer and employee events, sales and activity tracking.
  • Review individual and team goals periodically to measure performance and implement action plans to ensure success.
  • Coach team on proper execution of sales process and role model desired behaviors.
  • Conduct individual coaching sessions with staff members to coach to performance and to develop necessary sales, communication and service skills.
  • Adhere to compliance and operations risk controls accordance with the company and regulatory standards, policies and practices.
  • Report control weakness, compliance breaches and operational losses.
  • Participate in community organizations and activities to enhance the company's awareness and image within the community.
  • Establish proficiency of the Bank's systems needed to open and maintain accounts, provide client information and access operational policies and procedures.
  • Provide an environment conducive to effective communications at all levels.
  • Provide support and training to all staff members.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies and procedures. Perform additional accountabilities as required.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business or business related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years demonstrated sales, service, coaching and co-leadership experience in an incentive based sales environment or equivalent.
  • Strong sales, sales planning, managerial, customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercial banking knowledge and expertise required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

The actual compensation will be based on qualifications, experience and other factors permitted by law.
