Box Truck Delivery Driver

As a Delivery Driver, you will be a delivery hero in the neighborhoods you serve - delivering smiles to customers every day in the form of critical supplies, household goods, toys and so much more. Delivery Drivers will drive an Amazon-branded, DOT-regulated vehicle, delivering packages to customers. Delivery Helpers ride alongside the driver and assist with the delivery of heavy and bulky items (more than 75 lbs.). You can expect to work 3-5 days per week and average 10-12 hours per day.
We are a 6 day a week operation (you will only be scheduled 3-5 days per week). We only hire drivers with open/flexible availability to work any day, including a Saturday weekly. Additional days/hours may be required during peak times or as business needs dictate. Shifts start between 9am and 11am, and will last on average for 10 hours until route completion.
Minimum Requirements:
SAFETY 1st mentality. protect yourself, others, and company assets
1+ years driving experience in a 24ft box truck or larger vehicle (or relatable experience)
DOT Medical Card /Cert (current/valid/or able to obtain one prior to starting ) we will pay for your DOT if you have solid experience
Be at least 21 years of age
Valid standard driver s license (no special license required)
Be able to start early morning and work until route completion
Read, write, and speak English
Have good communication skills and ability to work well with others
Able to operate handheld electronic delivery devices and navigate route using GPS guidance
Able to lift heavy/bulky items weighing more than 75lbs (team lift)
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years driving experience in a 24ft box truck or larger vehicle
Prior DOT regulated driving experience
Residential delivery and/or assembly experience
Demonstrated independent problem solving and analytical skills
Prior experience interacting with customers and public in a professional and positive manner
