The General Manager provides leadership, direction and control for all aspects of this multi-million dollar facility. This includes managing all activities, events and programs associated with the park in accordance with company policies, procedures, and ethical business practices. The ideal candidate will possess proven leadership and problem-solving skills, and demonstrated ability to generate/monitor sales and revenue while controlling expenses, managing a diverse team and providing excellent customer service to ensure a safe and enjoyable guest experience. We are currently looking for a: Boomers Palm Springs General Manager Roles & Responsibilities: Roles & Responsibilities: Lead and direct all operational functions including food & beverage, retail, human resources, marketing, sales, safety/security, guest services, and maintenance while providing necessary guidance, support and coaching to the team. Supervise and develop a highly motivated and effective team of supervisors, managers and staff to ensure extraordinary guest satisfaction and delivery of revenue goals. Maintain visible presence in the park through daily inspections and regular interaction with employees and guests throughout the facility. Monitor and audit all aspects of the park to ensure consistent delivery of organizational quality standards for employees and guests at all revenue centers within the location. Monitor and review guest feedback, address guest complaints and concerns, and develop action plans to improve the guest experience. Oversee the management of all operational functions of revenue centers, including profitability, marketing, sales and COS, finance, growth, cleanliness, staffing, safety, proper food handling, risk management, and guest relations. Maximize sales potential through effective sales and marketing techniques, including group sales programs and other opportunities to exceed revenue goals. Research and recommend new products and vendors to enhance guest satisfaction, sales, and cost control. Maintain positive vendor relations through professional courtesy and develop new vendor relationships to enhance operations. In coordination with the Park Support team, develop capital investment opportunities. Ensure facilities are maintained in accordance with all company risk management and safety standards and regulations. Recommend facility and equipment improvements to achieve these standards. Manage all financial aspects of the facility while maximizing revenue and cost-savings opportunities. Prepare necessary reports, develop and control financial plans, budgets, and processes to leverage efficiency in all operating areas such as labor, materiel, and guest service. Review performance against plans, analyze market conditions, recommend and implement strategies to drive sales and revenue. Ensure that accurate daily, weekly, and monthly financial and performance reports are submitted in a timely manner as defined by corporate requirements. Ensure compliance with company policies, business processes and all applicable health, safety and risk management practices as well as governing state, federal and local regulations. Recommend facility and equipment improvements to achieve and maintain or exceed these standards. Reinforce the company's standards and systems while taking initiative to develop and enhance service level and product offerings. Monitor industry standards, business trends and local community issues that impact the business. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar discipline highly desired; equivalent education and work experience will be considered Languages: Fluent English, Spanish a plus Skills: Communication - Inspirational leader who possesses the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively with a diverse group of employees and guests Financial Acumen - Ability to analyze financial information, budgets, costs, inventory and sales to achieve maximum profit potential and address variances for a high-performing water park Leadership - Inspire others to achieve results, establish credibility throughout the organization and maintain a visible leadership role in appropriate industry, community and business organizations as necessary Problem Solving/Analysis: Define problems, research and collect data, draw valid conclusions and execute remedial strategies in a timely manner Project Management: Understand and manage projects from concept to completion. Develop and achieve strategic objectives, plans and time schedules; organize and manage competing priorities, while maintaining a steadfast commitment to detail Executive Presence - Represent the Company well internally and externally; convey a professional and positive image of the organization and business affiliates Flexibility - Handle multiple priorities simultaneously; maintain a flexible work schedule to meet changing demands for multiple concurrent projects Initiative and Adaptability - Take initiative and execute plans to accomplish strategic objectives in a fast-paced, evolving environment Computer Proficiency - MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Experience: 5+ years of progressive growth and facility management experience in a senior management role, preferably in a high volume Family Entertainment Center or other attraction-based operation.
