Position: Bookkeeper / Leasing Agent

Basic Function:

The Bookkeeper / Leasing Agent role at The Artisan Residences at Bella Terra in Huntington Beach, CA, seamlessly integrates financial management with leasing responsibilities for our upscale apartment community. This dynamic position entails maintaining accurate financial records, managing transactions, and supporting leasing efforts to ensure optimal occupancy and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Manage supplier invoices, ensuring timely payment while adhering to budgetary constraints.

Coordinate debt payments promptly as they come due, maintaining financial stability.

Maintain annual budgets, tracking expenses and revenues to optimize financial performance.

Issue invoices to residents promptly and oversee receivables collection processes.

Record cash receipts accurately and facilitate bank deposits in a timely manner.

Safeguard and manage the petty cash fund for operational needs.

Prepare and disseminate required financial reports to stakeholders, aiding decision-making.

Collaborate with the controller to ensure accuracy and integrity in financial statements.

Identify and report budget variances, highlighting significant issues for management attention.

Provide administrative support to management as requested, ensuring efficient operations.

In addition to financial duties, the role encompasses:

Serve as a Leasing Consultant, actively promoting and leasing available units.

Conduct property tours, showcasing unit features and amenities to prospective residents.

Respond to incoming inquiries professionally, converting leads into physical traffic.

Follow up with prospects through various channels, nurturing leads until conversion.

Coordinate move-ins, conducting walkthroughs and addressing any resident concerns.

Process rental applications and conduct credit verifications, ensuring compliance with policies.

Acquire in-depth knowledge of the property and the neighborhood to effectively market units.

Conduct daily inspections of available units to ensure presentation standards are met.

Monitor property for any liability issues, promptly reporting and addressing concerns.

Maintain comprehensive lease files and prepare documentation for move-in procedures.

Generate and analyze market surveys regularly to inform pricing and occupancy strategies.

Execute any additional duties assigned by supervisors to optimize property performance.

Represent The Artisan Residences at Bella Terra professionally through demeanor and appearance.

Desired Qualifications:

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree in Accounting or business administration, or equivalent experience, with a solid grasp of bookkeeping principles. Proficiency in Yardi software is preferred. Strong communication, sales, marketing, and customer service skills are essential, along with meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in computer applications. This multifaceted role demands versatility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to achieving organizational objectives.

Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour
