We are seeking an experienced Consulting Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide valuable financial insight and direction to our clients, helping them to navigate the complexities of their financial landscape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GAAP, AR, AP, and a deep understanding of the financial intricacies. This role requires a minimum of 2+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

As a Consulting Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for:

1. Managing the financial records of our clients in the scientific industry, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
2. Utilizing your knowledge of GAAP, AR, AP to provide expert financial advice and direction.
3. Preparing financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
4. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
6. Reconciling bank statements and conducting regular financial audits.
7. Collaborating with other team members to develop strategies for financial growth and stability.
8. Providing training and support to other staff members on financial procedures and systems.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

1. Proficiency in accounting software (Quickbooks) and Microsoft Office Suite
2.A minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related role.
3. Extensive knowledge of GAAP, AR, AP.
4. Experience in the scientific industry is strongly preferred.
5. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
