BOOKKEEPER-ACCOUNTS PAYABLE & PAYROLL SPECIALIST

They are looking for a dedicated Bookkeeper to manage their full-cycle AP processes, handle vendor communication, and assist with payroll. OVERVIEW OF THE BOOKKEEPER ROLE:
- Bookkeeper is responsible for managing their full-cycle Accounts Payable process. This includes processing invoices, matching purchase orders, coding expenses, and ensuring timely payments.
- Maintain strong relationships with their vendors and proactively communicate about any open invoices or discrepancies. The Bookkeeper is vital in maintaining positive vendor relationships.
- Utilize your knowledge of credits and debits to accurately record financial transactions and maintain the integrity of their financial records.
- Collaborate with their team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Your role as a Bookkeeper extends to helping with payroll functions.
- Over time, you may have the opportunity to assist their sister company with their accounting needs, expanding your role as a Bookkeeper.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE BOOKKEEPER ROLE:
- Significant experience in Accounts Payable is a must.
- Prior experience with Sage Intact is preferred.
- A degree in finance or accounting is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Moderate experience with Excel required.
