An esteemed organization, specializing in commercial and industrial boiler systems, is on the lookout for a Boiler Service Technician to join their operations in Broomall, PA.

This role encompasses maintenance, repair, and various preventive actions to ensure optimal operation within the Tri-State area encompassing Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and Delaware.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting thorough evaluations and performing intricate repairs as well as preventative maintenance on a wide array of commercial and industrial boilers and burners.
- Carrying out combustion setups and analyses, adeptly navigating the complexities of diverse burners across a range of .5 to 30,000 MBH input on various fuels, aligning with low emissions mandates.
- Executing hydrostatic testing to ascertain the structural integrity of boilers, guaranteeing their safe and efficient operation.
- Troubleshooting, installing, and commissioning DDC control systems, including but not limited to prominent brands such as Siemens, Johnson Controls, Autoflame, Fireye, Nexus, and Cleaver Brooks Hawk.
- Handling the start-up, programming, upgrading, and troubleshooting of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD"s) from manufacturers like Eaton, ABB, Yokogawa, Danfoss, and Rockwell, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.

Job Requirements

Key Requirements:

- A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in the boiler industry, demonstrating a profound understanding of boiler systems and their maintenance.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hot water and steam boiler support equipment including deaerators, feed systems, blow down systems, economizers, waste heat recovery equipment, and other related pressure vessels.
- Proficiency in electronics, direct digital control (DDC) theory, airflow, hydronics, heat transfer theory, pH sensors, flow meters, electrical meters, and system control techniques.
- Exceptional ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely, documenting service reports that detail work performed and recommending further repairs as necessary.
- A commitment to safety and quality, with the ability to work in confined spaces and at heights, supported by a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and adherence to initial and ongoing drug screening protocols.
