What you will do as a Boiler Operator: - Assist in maintaining boilers, chiller systems, air compressors, cooling towers, wastewater treatment systems, etc.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
- Properly monitor facilities in accordance with state regulations
- Complete rounds every two hours, checking for issues with machinery
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Develop departmental standard operating procedures
- Maintain GMP and non-GMP equipment history files to develop preventative and predictive maintenance programs
- Ensure compliance with quality procedures
- Maintain plant cleanliness and organization
- Participate in emergency coverage as needed
What you need to be a Boiler Operator: - High School Diploma or GED
- 1st class boiler s license
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in equipment maintenance
- Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
- Knowledge of High-Pressure Boiler Systems & HVAC Systems
