New Story offers customized and targeted consultative services including assessment, strategic planning, in-school and in-classroom supports designed to strengthen the quality of special education services in schools, provided additional capacity and knowledge to staff and contribute to small and large-scale improvements across the district.

RESPONSIBILITIES WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Provide direct/indirect behavioral services to students and/or teachers and classroom support personnel in either individual or group settings

Provide supervision to assigned RBTs, BTs and other classroom leaders and/or support personnel to support identified goals

Provide oversight for one or multiple student's ABA programs in the classroom including oversight for paraprofessionals who are working with the student(s) directly.

Individually assess students to identify learning and program needs

Develop initial programming and ongoing modification to programs as needed

Provide direct intervention, instruction and supervision to classroom support personnel

Monitor program and progress and provide daily progress reporting and data analysis

Provide daily progress notes for school and families

Create functional behavior assessments and related behavior intervention plans and create social skills and/or skill based assessments as needed

Provide consultation to teachers and other behavior support or classroom support personnel

Assist with development of behavior strategies, IEP goals focusing on behavior reduction and replacement behaviors and data collection tools and methodology

Provide instruction for Response to Intervention (RTI)

Provide Behavioral Skills Training (BST) for classroom staff on identified interventions

QUALIFICATIONS WHAT YOU BRING

Master's degree in psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or other related fields of study.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

2 Years' experience in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with various special needs
