Biomedical Equipment Technician II

Job Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, maintain, and calibrate a broad range of clinical equipment, devices, systems, and instruments.

Ensure equipment meets all regulatory compliance standards.

Provide advanced technical support for equipment used in direct patient care.

Collaborate with healthcare providers to identify and resolve technology-based challenges.

Effectively address customer service issues and complaints.

Prepare necessary documentation and reports.

Prioritize safety in all aspects of the job.

Manage budgets for parts and service purchases.

Participate in knowledge transfer by mentoring and training others.

Qualifications:

Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field focused on maintaining and repairing medical equipment in a healthcare setting.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronic, mechanical, or electro-mechanical repair within a healthcare technology environment.

Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is a must.

Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for medical devices.

Experience working in an operating room (OR), cath lab, or with sterilizer equipment (preferred).

Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
