As a Billing Specialist focused on our Aggregates business, you'll ensure the accuracy and timeliness of our billing processes for aggregates picked up by truck at more than 70 company-operated locations and over 200 additional source locations. This role is crucial for interfacing with customers and collaborating across departments to uphold the highest level of billing integrity. Your efforts will directly impact our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by ensuring smooth and precise billing for every load of gravel, limestone, recycled materials, sand, soil, dirt, and salt.

Your Role:

  • Manage delivery tickets for each truckload sale to ensure all transaction details are correct for accurate billing.
  • Address and correct any billing mistakes to ensure all charges to customers are precise and fair.
  • Communicate clearly with customers picking up aggregate orders by truck and with Ozinga dispatch teams to address any concerns and ensure seamless deliveries.
  • Ensure payment records for truck drivers picking up aggregate products are accurate and up to date.
  • Utilize billing software and dispatch software, using these tools for effective problem-solving and detail management.

Who We're Looking For:

  • A detail-oriented individual with 2-3+ years of relevant billing experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, and experience with Microsoft D365, Apex, or XBE dispatch software is a plus.
  • A critical thinker with strong analytical abilities, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
