We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Billing Specialist with a passion for numbers and a keen interest in the automotive industry. Provide accounting services by maintaining management designated procedures and policies for new and used car billing, inventory control, contracts in transit, outside liens, customer deposits and customer we owe as well other accounting functions as needed.

Job Details

As a Billing Specialist, you are expected to:

1. Daily
2. Clean inventory schedules 1st thing every morning
3. Email out Z'S every morning if no response by on stock number after two days put to service COS.
4. Look at heat sheet every morning after schedules. Close any deal where we have collected missing information before starting new deals.
5. Before posting deal look at all accounts associated and the law contract for sale date verifying counties
6. Look in morning to see if we collected information and if so, Finalize old deals first.
7. Accurately cost and post new and used car billing and product only sales with a daily goal of posting all turned in deals.
8. Update VMS vehicle location screen with title status after deal is posted.
9. Maintain and distribute contracts in transit schedule for daily distribution to store and accounting management.
10. Reserve anything per policy when aged as it occurs.
11. Process accurate lien payoffs immediately after deal is posted and deposit is verified.
12. After Posting a deal look at schedules to ensure all balances are 0
13. Email out Heat Sheet Nightly
14. All cost of sale entries needs detailed information such as RO , DEAL , and why moved to Cost of sale.

To be considered for this role, you should have the following:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, preferably within the automotive industry.
2. Proficiency in relevant accounting software, spreadsheets, and data management systems.
3. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
4. Strong understanding of billing procedures.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve billing discrepancies.
6. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. High degree of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information.
10. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
