Seeking a skilled Billing Specialist (Hybrid role, but subject to change. Training will be done in person in the office in Atlanta, GA and depending on your progress could go remote. Must live locally.)

Location: Atlanta, GA

Payrate: $19.28/hr.

Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday

  • The Billing Specialist II is responsible for the routine billing, adjustment and reconciliation functions within the Revenue Center of Excellence. In this role, the individual will be responsible for, but not limited to, invoicing, subscription management, processing adjustments, account reconciliation, customer account set up / management and resolving customer billing disputes and inquiries.
  • Research and work closely with internal/external customers to resolve billing issues/disputes with excellent customer service
  • Process adjustments and manual transactions to customer accounts in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Process support requests (SNOW tickets, emails, phone calls, etc.) within SLA's and expediting requests as necessary
  • Process Arbitrations, Dealshield Returns and Floorplan Unwinds and the associated refunds
  • Process Commercial Sales within the contractual SLA and handle inquiries that come into the Commercial Sales shared email box

Required Experience & Specialized Knowledge and skills:

  • 3+years' experience in Accounts Receivable in fast paced environment required
  • High School diploma, required
  • Working with customers to resolve billing issues, excellent customer service track record
  • Month end closing processes and knowledge of accounting principles
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Microsoft Office, AS400 and Oracle Accounts Receivable (11i or 12R) strongly preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Proficient in PC Skills, including the use of Microsoft Office Suites and Oracle
