We are currently seeking a dynamic part-time Billing Coordinator (roughly 20-25/hrs a month) who is a proactive problem-solver and possesses a deep understanding of the legal industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of billing for our consulting services, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to company policies and legal regulations. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, specifically within the legal industry.

Responsibilities
1. Oversee the entire billing process for consulting services, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and legal regulations.
2. Utilize ProLaw software to manage billing, client information, and other related tasks.
3. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to gather and verify billing information.
4. Resolve any billing discrepancies or issues in a timely and professional manner.
5. Prepare and distribute invoices to clients, following up on any late or missing payments.
6. Maintain accurate records of all billing activities, providing reports as needed.
7. Assist with insurance billing, ensuring compliance with all regulations and requirements.
8. Continually evaluate and improve billing processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
9. Stay updated on the latest legal billing standards and regulations.

Qualifications
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a billing role within the legal industry.
2. Proven experience with ProLaw, Insurance Company Billing, and Legal Billing.
3. Strong understanding of legal billing procedures and regulations.
4. Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members and clients.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
7. Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to keep accurate records and provide reports as needed.
9. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
