BHC Quality Coordinator

Assists the BHC management team in developing goals and objectives, establishes, implements, and maintains BHC policies and procedures. Adheres to departmental standard of care and operates within professional code of ethical behavior including corporate compliance with all OZH, national, Federal, and State rules, billing requirements, and remains current on all regulatory changes. Provides information to BHC Management team. Participates in BHC team meetings, staff meetings, quality assurance meetings and audits departmental charts on a regular basis to ensure compliance with standard Assists BHC Management Team to develop BHC goals and objectives, establish and implement policies and procedures. Adheres to departmental standard of care and operates within professional code of ethical behavior including corporate compliance with all OZH, Joint Commission, CARF, CCBHO, DMH and CMS requirements Oversees clinical compliance with Medicare/Medicaid standards, Joint Commission, CARF, CCBHO, DMH, and other required standards. Review standards regularly for changes to ensure achieving and maintaining compliance Is responsible for BHC tracer completions and reports; other audits as assigned by BHC management team. Provides ongoing training to staff and providers regarding regulatory adherence, including care plans, documentation requirements and billing accurately for services Provides Performance Improvement reports and an audit report monthly to BHC Director/Managers. Responsive to BHC management team needs for other data collection utilization review, and chart review and program evaluation. Participates in team meetings, staff meetings, quality assurance meetings, huddles and meets regularly with BHC Management team. Maintains professional growth and development through continuing and professional affiliations to keep abreast of the latest trends in field of expertise. Other duties as assigned
