Our client, an international law firm is looking for a Benefits Coordinator to assist the team while someone is out on maternity leave. This role will start in May and go through the end of October. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast paced environment and able to commit for the duration of the leave.
Responsibilities:
- Processing department invoices
- Respond to the benefit hotline
- Make updates into PeopleSoft with health and welfare changes
- Administer all insurance changes
- Data entry for all COBRA events
- Assist with the retirement paperwork
- Assist with the bi-weekly payroll audits related to 401k plans
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of Benefits, HR or other related experience required
- Working knowledge of ERISA,DOL, IRS regulations as they pertain to benefits and retirement plan programs, preferred.
- Familiarity People Soft, preferred
- Work a hybrid schedule - working in office 3 days/week (Tuesday -Thursday), other days if needed and based on the needs of the business
