Our client, an international organization, has an immediate need for a temporary Benefits & Compensation Manager to support their team in Africa for six months.

About the Job:

  • Analyze salary surveys and legal regulations to develop region-specific compensation and benefits structures aligned with market standards and organizational philosophy across 10+ African countries.
  • Assess cost implications and devise an implementation strategy for proposed compensation and benefits changes.
  • Create communication materials to effectively convey the newly developed total rewards package to relevant stakeholders.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on compensation and benefits for the Africa HR team, providing day-to-day support and enhancing technical understanding.
  • Assist in data submission for market surveys and participate in assigned compensation and benefits programs and projects for the global team.
  • Provide support for the implementation of C&B elements within the ERP system as part of project requirements.

About You:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, HR, or other relevant field is required.
  • 5+ years of Compensation & Benefits experience in Africa, especially salary analysis and compensation practices.
  • Strong grasp of compensation fundamentals, including job analysis, market pricing, and total rewards.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and excellent oral/written English.
  • Fluency in French is highly preferred.
  • Display strong cultural sensitivity while embracing the mission and values of the organization.

About the Position:

  • $35/hr-$43/hr, depending on experience.
  • Temporary for 6 months.
  • Start at 7am 3days/week.
  • On-site 1 day/week in Washington, DC.
