Our client, an international organization, has an immediate need for a temporary Benefits & Compensation Manager to support their team in Africa for six months.
About the Job:
- Analyze salary surveys and legal regulations to develop region-specific compensation and benefits structures aligned with market standards and organizational philosophy across 10+ African countries.
- Assess cost implications and devise an implementation strategy for proposed compensation and benefits changes.
- Create communication materials to effectively convey the newly developed total rewards package to relevant stakeholders.
- Act as a subject matter expert on compensation and benefits for the Africa HR team, providing day-to-day support and enhancing technical understanding.
- Assist in data submission for market surveys and participate in assigned compensation and benefits programs and projects for the global team.
- Provide support for the implementation of C&B elements within the ERP system as part of project requirements.
About You:
- A bachelor's degree in business, HR, or other relevant field is required.
- 5+ years of Compensation & Benefits experience in Africa, especially salary analysis and compensation practices.
- Strong grasp of compensation fundamentals, including job analysis, market pricing, and total rewards.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and excellent oral/written English.
- Fluency in French is highly preferred.
- Display strong cultural sensitivity while embracing the mission and values of the organization.
About the Position:
- $35/hr-$43/hr, depending on experience.
- Temporary for 6 months.
- Start at 7am 3days/week.
- On-site 1 day/week in Washington, DC.
