This position is intended for CRMC-Belmont but you will remain in your current position until confirmed by the manager at an appropriate date to allow for adequate orientation/training. CaroMont Health is hiring a Full-Time Nursing Assistant II work the shifts within our Labor Delivery Unit (L) at the CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Belmont, NC-Opening in Fall 2024. Certified Nursing Assistant II Roles and Responsibilities: Provides patient care; performs a variety of technical duties under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Performs all activities in accordance with approved policies, guidelines and assigned department scope of service. All patient care activities contribute to ensuring that the standards of care are met for patients. Performs a variety of clerical and related duties on assigned unit. Facilitates communication among patients, visitors, nursing staff, and other health care team members in order to promote effective working relationships on assigned unit. Required Skills Qualifications: Completion of 12th grade (high school) or equivalent. Certification of completion of Nursing Assistant II courses required. Meets North Carolina State Board of Nursing requirements and is registered as a Nurse Aide II on the registry. Skill in dealing tactfully with patients, nursing staff, physicians, hospital employees, and the general public. Knowledge of personal computers, medical terminology, lab tests, typing skills, and basic grammar. At least 6 months hospital experience. Current BLS.
