Salary: $43,749.00 (Non-Credentialed) $45,936.45 (Credentialed) Hiring Incentives: 5% increase at 12 month anniversary and 5% upon initial credentialing (i.e. Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CADC/CAC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or comparable credential; DCS offers internal clinical supervision and continuing education credits to pursue certification through the Alcohol & Drug Certification Board of GA (ADACBGA) and free CEUs for credentialed staff. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Act as client advocate in order to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations Collect information about clients through interviews, observation, and tests Counsel clients in individual and group sessions to help them overcome dependencies, recover from illness, and adjust to life Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge Evaluate clients' physical or mental condition based on review of client information Maintain confidentiality of records relating to client's treatment Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress according to measurable goals described in treatment and care plan Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience providing individual and/or group counseling services to clients identified to have substance abuse and/or cognitive needs; Credentialing (i.e. Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CADC/CAC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or comparable credential).
