Greenbrook is seeking an individual who will be trained and certified to administer breakthrough behavioral health care services including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and esketamine therapy to patients with depression and other mental health disorders. We offer a competitive pay range of $21-23/hour (based on education level and prior experience), a sign-on bonus, PLUS a generous benefits package including 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and medical/dental/vision benefits. This position will primarily work out of our Virginia Beach center but may require travel to other centers in the region as needed. This position requires availability Monday-Friday from 7am - 7:30pm (working 8-hour shifts) as our hours of operation are flexible and vary depending on regional needs (including occasional weekends too). Primary responsibilities are, but not limited to: Administering TMS or esketamine therapy, as applicable, in accordance with all provider-established clinical guidelines and protocols including but not limited to: preparing the TMS medical device, as applicable; reviewing all medication/treatment administration information with each patient (subject to provider preference); monitoring all aspects of TMS of esketamine treatment to ensure patient wellbeing and clinical accuracy; and taking patient vitals before esketamine treatment, 40 mins after administration, and prior to patient release. Providing and collecting Spravato Informed Consent forms before induction of any esketamine treatments and submits REMS Monitoring forms following each esketamine treatment. Reviewing and administering psychiatric rating scales (i.e., PHQ-9, QIDS-SR16) to patients, as applicable, to benchmark treatment progress and ensure continuity of care. Identifying and resolving any issues related to patient discomfort during treatment using FDA pre-approved guidance from device manufacturer(s) or applicable medication protocols and in accordance with all clinical provider directives. Delivering exceptional patient care at all times by demonstrating empathy, developing trust, utilizing reflecting listening, and providing support to a vulnerable patient population. Recording all treatment session notes and documents in EHR, collaborating with other team members and/or providers as needed. Scheduling patient consultations and visits (both over the phone and in person), as well as conducting patient checkout procedures including collecting applicable co-payments and relaying discharge instructions. Maintaining understanding of general insurance and billing procedures to support related workflows and requests, as required. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (preferred, not required - see other acceptable qualifications below) and at least one year of experience working in a patient care or mental health office setting or operating room setting, OR; High School Diploma, Associate Degree, Medical Assistant or other clinical certification may be considered with additional years of solid work experience. Preferred Experience and Qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and EHR systems, preferably Athena and SalesForce. Knowledge of marketplace insurance payers and medical necessity guidelines highly recommended but not required.
