As a Behavioral Health Professional within Specialized Community Supports (SCS), you will provide direct individual, partner, family, and group therapies to reduce symptomology and improve the functionality and quality of individual and family lives. Upi will function as a waiver support professional and provides high level clinical services including diagnostic assessments and behavioral health therapies to a broad range of clients. Services may be provided in office, home, school, or community settings. Travel to and from client residences will be necessary. Clients have complex therapeutic histories and may be involuntary. Cases may include foster care, child protection, criminal justice and other complex medical/behavioral /disability issues. You may work in complex crisis situations and may be asked to consult on issues needing clinical expertise and consultation as well as testify in court when legally required to do so. Evening and weekend hours may be requested depending on a particular site's needs. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Master's Degree is required in behavioral health sciences or related field. Must hold and maintain one or more of the following licenses in the state of Minnesota: LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LP (Licensed Psychologist), -OR- LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Must meet the qualifications for a Positive Support Professional as listed in Minnesota Statutes. A valid driver's license is required. Statute 148A-Sexual Contact and Bureau of Criminal Affairs clearance is required. Licensure must be active and in good standing with the respective Licensing Board. Must adhere to licensure ethics and regulations. In-service training/education is required to maintain licensure.
