Description:

UCFS is looking for candidates who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. We are currently seeking a part-time, academic year (20 hours/week, 45 weeks/year) Behavioral Health Clinician to provide the full range of clinical outpatient services for students in a school-based health center. The clinician will also provide day to day clinical assistance in covering daily operations of behavioral health services within the site and will provide outreach and marketing of the center to teachers, students and parents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide the full range of clinical outpatient services, while meeting productivity standards, that are person centered, evidence based and strength based to individuals, families, couples or groups of all ages regarding psychological, behavioral or emotional problems through the development and implementation of clinical assessment and clinical treatment plans;
Ensure documentation standards are maintained by staff and self for all records required by agency licensees and payor sources such as DCF, DMHAS, CT-BHP, and Medicaid within a timely fashion;
Provide outreach and marketing of the center to teachers, students and parents.
Ensure coordination of services with relevant providers involved in a given case within and outside of UCFS (e.g. school personnel, Department of Children and Families, courts, etc.) and support continued collaboration with other providers;
Participate in professional activities such as: community education sessions, psycho-educational classroom presentations, clinical conferences, and meetings with representatives of community groups for planning, developing, and delivery of health services.

Requirements:
Master's degree (M.A., M.F.T., M.S.W.)
1-3 years of experience
Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills
CT State Licensure preferred (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LADC)
