View Point Health is a community behavioral health center utilizing a team of psychiatrists, nurses, licensed counselors and social workers, as well as other professionals to provide services to individuals who need treatment and support to cope with mental illness, substance abuse, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. View Point Health serves uninsured, underinsured, low-income Medicaid, Medicare, war veterans and some private insurance across multiple locations with a full continuum of behavioral health services and support. As part of our ongoing growth as a Community Service Board (CSB), View Point Health is excited to announce we have the honor of being selected as the provider of services for individuals with behavioral health and intellectual disabilities for a few new Recovery Residences. We are opening 2 new Recovery Residences located in Lawrenceville, Ga. These Recovery Residences are called the Bright (Building Residential Independence, Growth and Hope Together) Homes. The estimated length of stay for the individuals served is 3- 6 months. We offer support to young adults between the ages of 18 -21. The homes are co-ed. These individuals will be offered modified DBT and other clinical interventions at the level appropriate for the individual. These homes specialize in clients with a dual diagnosis of mental health as well as mild to moderate intellectual and development delays. The home will house up to 4 clients in each home. We also have the STAR (Specialized Treatment and Residence) home. This program is located in Conyers, Ga. The estimated length of stay is 1 year. We offer support to young adults. This home is dedicated to female clients. These individuals will be offered modified DBT and other clinical interventions at the level appropriate for the individual that resides in the home. This home specializes in self-harm with primary mental health diagnosis of SMI (severe mental health illness). The home will house up to 4 clients. The clinical interventions will be delivered via individual clinical services as well as a clinical learning environment provided in a group setting at the homes.
