There is a significant pay increase after 6 months as well as a promotion guaranteed to those who obtain satisfactory performance reviews. There is also a significant pay increase for the completion of a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in one of the fields listed above. Pay Range: Base pay rate starts at $17/hour. Shift differentials are available for the following shifts, and will add the below hourly amounts to your base rate of pay: Weekend: $1.25/hour Weekday Evening: $1.25/hour Weekend Evening: $2.50/hour Overnight: $4/hour Shifts Available: 11pm - 7:30am We have a biweekly rotating schedule. All employees are required to work every other weekend, regardless of full or part time status. Shifts are 8 hours with a 30 minute break. There is no flexibility in the start or end time of shifts. Haverhill Pavilion Behavioral Health Hospital provides superior mental health services via a 50-bed adult inpatient program and a 21-bed geriatric inpatient program. Our highly structured, closely supervised environment features state-of-the-art clinical areas, comfortable patient rooms, and inviting spaces for recreation and other leisure activities for our patients. We specialize in the treatment of individuals with a primary diagnosis of a mental health disorder. Behavioral Health Associates are an integral part of the treatment team provided for patients upon admission to our facility. Each unit utilizes a team nursing approach to take care of our patients. Nurses work in collaboration with the behavioral health associates in order to provide the highest standard of care for our patients. Behavioral Health Associate responsibilities: Ensure the well-being of patients and provide a positive, supportive, and structured environment. Responsible for conducting safety checks and ensuring that supervision is conducted at 15 minute intervals. Document timely, accurate and appropriate clinical information in the patient's medical record. Interact routinely with patients, observe behaviors, and communicate significant observations to nursing staff. Engage patients in interactions, group therapy and activities designed to encourage achievement of treatment goals and increase therapeutic coping skills. Complete and maintain required documentation. Complete paperwork as required on incidents and events that may take place on the unit. Job Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
