Verbal Beginnings is a leading Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy provider serving children diagnosed with autism. We provide extensive training to anyone interested in learning about ABA therapy and autism and have a passion for working with children. Attributes and qualifications needed to be successful in this role: Patience, compassion and the desire to help children with autism achieve their goals Genuine desire to learn about Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy Ability to work independently and collaborate with others High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree (completed or in progress) preferred 6+ months experience working with children preferred Must have valid drivers license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation All ABA therapists will be required to complete or provide proof of completion of the 40-Hour RBT course. Verbal Beginnings will provide the course to those who need to complete it. Schedule, Location and Compensation: Sessions typically occur 3-5 days per week for 2-3 hours, most often during after school hours between 3pm-8pm. Sessions typically occur in the childs natural environment (in the childs home, community, and/or school). Starting at $20.00 - $29.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications PA Clearances: The state of PA has additional requirements for ABA providers. Employment is contingent upon receipt of the following during the pre-hire onboarding process. The ABA therapist / Registered Behavior Technician Collects and records data to monitor the progress of a treatment plan and works in collaboration with the clinical supervisor to update the treatment plan as necessary If you are in this field, you know sometimes 'it takes a village', and we strive to provide that support.
