Opening for full-time Behavior Specialist (8am-4pm Mon-Fri) 221-day school program serving students with autism and IDD Located in Hudson, MA Salary Range: $62,000-$77,000 Who we are at The Darnell School Our mission is to teach, support and empower people with disabilities to live meaningful lives based on their needs and choices. 766 approved private school for students ages 9-22 with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities and/or behavioral challenge. Spacious classrooms are arranged to serve up to 6 students. Highly trained and experienced staff using ABA strategies to attain long range quality of life outcomes. Works in partnership with families on every aspect of their child's growth and education. The downtown area of Hudson affords students ample opportunities for community skill-building, relationship development and recreation. Minimum Education Required Master's Degree Responsibilities We are searching for a passionate and energetic Behavior Specialist that enjoys working with children with autism and IDD and has a desire to contribute to their lives in positive ways. We are looking for passionate TEAM members who are committed to making a difference every day. You will be supervised by our Ph.D. level Clinical Director and will work closely as a team with Head Classroom Teachers and Case Managers as you help to develop and write Behavior Support Plans, collect treatment integrity data, and train classroom staff to implement programs and BSPs. You will review data, modify student programming and work with classroom staff to make adjustments to ensure student success. Ideal candidates will have a master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field, BCBA or BCaBA preferred, but not required.
