Position: FBA Clinical Assessor-BCBA

Position Type: 10-99 Contractor

Rate: $300/per completed FBA assessment project

Our amazing team of professionals' partner with each family to develop and implement an individualized therapeutic plan for their child, to provide them with the skills needed to engage in everyday interactions and excel in their lives. Our staff is fully committed to helping individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Other Developmental Disabilities to reach their full potential. A collaborative effort is used to maximize the individuals' quality of life using various evidenced-based practices based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), to decrease challenging behaviors, develop functional skills, foster independence, and promote social integration.

This position is open to BCBAs who live in CA and would like to work as 10-99 contractors. We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starter who exhibits excellent communication skills and the ability to empathize with our pediatric clients. This position is classified as an independent contractor, not an employee of the company. The FBA assessor will conduct assessments using applicable tools, and produce a final report with treatment recommendations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct multiple assessment appointments with families via telehealth.
Utilizes evidence-based ABA assessment techniques.
Reviews assessment results, treatment recommendations, and expectations with the family upon FBA/report completion.
Ensures reports are submitted in a timely manner.
Protects client confidentiality consistent with HIPAA guidelines, by following the company's EMR guidelines
Stays abreast of ABA assessment and evaluation techniques and tools via ongoing professional training and development, per BACB guidelines.

Education:

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in psychology/early childhood education or closely related field.

• Must possess and maintain a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.

Experience:

Typically requires at least 1-year experience in conducting FBA assessments/reports within a multi-disciplinary team setting; or the equivalent in training and experience to gain the requisite knowledge, assessment skills, and ability to perform the essential responsibilities of the role.

Skills & Abilities:

Expertise in approaches to intervention and assessment based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis; competent in employing and directing behavior analytic methodologies; excellent clinical, administrative, time management and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized and with great attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively, through oral and written skills.
Must possess basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Microsoft Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
Ability to maintain positive client interaction and professionalism.
Ability to demonstrate good judgment, exercise discretion, and maintain a high level of confidentiality in handling sensitive information and documentation.
Bilingual: Spanish strongly preferred, but not required.
