Backing Weaving Utility

Job Summary: The Weaving Utility is responsible for cleaning the looms and keeping a neat work environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Must be able to withstand high temperature and working in close spaces. Must be able observe all PPE rules and regulations Must be motivated with a good attitude Ability to work unsupervised Ability to cut off warp beams, sweep floors, bale waste and change out trash cans. Stand on concrete floor for long periods of time Good attendance record Ability to keep a clean and safe work area Ability to operate a fork lift. Performance Expectations: Ability to lift 50 pounds Capable of standing on concrete floor throughout shift Walking, stooping and reaching over loom for long periods of time Experience/Education Requirements: Ability to work around and with heavy industrial equipment Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision. Ability to work in accordance with quality, safety and production standards, policies and guidelines. Other Requirements: Overtime may be required periodically Incidents must be reported immediately (personal injury/property damage) Perform any other duties as assigned
