Job Details

We are looking for a passionate Backend Software Engineer who specializes in Data Engineering to join our dynamic technology team. You will be part of a fast-paced, innovative environment where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and techniques. This role offers a chance to make a significant impact on our product development and overall business strategy.

Responsibilities:

As a Backend Software Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

1. Designing, coding, testing, and debugging backend software components and services that power our cloud-based applications.
2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
3. Implementing data models and structures using the best practices of data modeling and design.
4. Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for deploying and managing applications.
5. Automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
6. Leveraging Azure ML and MLflow for machine learning model development, deployment, and tracking.
7. Ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
8. Working with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.
9. Implementing security and data protection settings.
10. Staying updated with emerging technologies and applying them into operations and activities.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Backend Software Engineer - Data position should have the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in backend software development.
3. Proven experience with Python, C , .NET, and FastAPI.
4. Solid experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
5. Familiarity with Azure ML, MLflow, and other machine learning platforms and tools.
6. Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and methodologies, with experience in using tools like Terraform and Helm.
7. Experience with automation and configuration management.
8. Strong understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
10. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
11. A passion for staying updated with the latest advancements in technology and a drive to apply these advancements in the work environment.
