We are on the hunt for a dynamic and talented Backend Engineer to join our innovative technology team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our cutting-edge software applications, systems, and platforms. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work with a team of passionate professionals who are committed to pushing the boundaries of the technology industry.

Responsibilities:
As a Backend Engineer, your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure backend systems and APIs.
2. Working closely with the frontend team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
4. Implementing security and data protection measures.
5. Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
6. Constructing reusable code and libraries for future use.
7. Solving complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
8. Participating in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards.
9. Managing hosting environments, including database administration and scaling applications to support load changes.
10. Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and applying them into operations and activities.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role within the technology industry.
2. Proven experience with Rust and Django
3. Extensive experience with backend frameworks such as Django, Node.js, or Ruby on Rails.
4. Solid understanding of APIs and how to interact with them.
5. Proficiency in managing databases such as Postgres, MySQL, or MongoDB.
6. Hands-on experience with cloud services like AWS.
7. Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
8. Strong understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to quickly understand complex systems.
10. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
11. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
