Avionic Technician

PGS Worldwide is actively seeking skilled Avionic Technicians to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Greenville, SC. This is an initial 5-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.

Job Description:

Performs a variety of wire routing and harness installations across the aircraft fuselage and directly installs wiring per diagrams.

Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.

Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.

Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.

Operates related equipment, conducts tests, and reports data in prescribed format.

Performs calibration and alignment checks and makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.

Prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

Requirements:

Need to have good experience with wire routing, continuity testing, and crimping.

Must be available for 2nd shift (M-Th, 4:30pm-3:00am) and weekend shift (Th-Sun, 6:00am-4:30pm).

Personal toolbox not required for this position.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

US Citizenship.
