Classic Jet Center, located at the Lake County Executive Airport in Willoughby, Ohio, is seeking to add an A&P Technician to its staff due to increasing business.

Our A&P Technician performs maintenance on customer aircraft and documents all work per appropriate manuals and regulations as required. Our A&P Technician may provide oversight of other technicians and assume the role of Quality Manager / Chief Inspector.

In this role, you will:

Adhere to Classic Jet Center general work requirements and Repair Station Manual

Comply with Environmental / Health / Safety policies and procedures

Perform all work in a safe, high quality, and timely manner

Perform duties of Quality Manager / Chief Inspector

Perform duties of Floor Supervisor

Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft

Perform and document work executed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required

Operate ground support equipment as required

Perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations

May assist with maintenance at off-site locations

Carry out other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS - As our ideal candidate

Have an A&P Certificate

2+ years aircraft maintenance experience both piston and turbine

Readiness to work in a team environment

Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings

Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form

Has own tools and the ability to demonstrate inventory & control of company owned tools

Willingness to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidays

Ability to interpret/ process all relative regulatory documents, actions and requirements

Has the working knowledge of (FAA Regs, ADs, SBs, etc.)

Possess strong planning/organizational skills
