Modern Motorcars is looking for a Inventory Coordinator to join our team.

Position Description

At Modern Motorcars the Inventory Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all the steps of getting a vehicle ready to our very high standards. From the time we acquire a vehicle, by trade or purchase, the Inventory Coordinator develops a plan and ensures it is executed timely and cost effectively. This position is fast paced and collaborates with Sales, Service and Administrative leadership.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Oversees the reconditioning process for all trade-ins and purchases to ensure the necessary reconditioning is completed timely and cost effectively to generate the desired gross profits.
Work with all service departments and vendors to achieve the desired reconditioning quality standards and meets the safety, timing/turnaround, and quality expectations of the dealerships' reconditioning process. This requires constant monitoring through our reconditioning software.
Oversees all outside vendors providing services to the reconditioning process (paint, dent repair, interior repairs, wheel repair, glass repair, etc.).
Responsible for the check-in process of all incoming inventory to our reconditioning and dealership management softwares.
Oversees arbitration with 3rd party vendors.
Create and maintain accurate vehicle listings in our inventory management software.
Assist manager and collaborate with leadership as needed to insure reconditioning goals are achieved.

Qualifications

This qualified candidate should possess relevant work experience
Automotive repair knowledge is a plus
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Must have strong organizational and time management skills
A valid driver's license with a minimum of 3 years clean driving record
An eager, outgoing personality
Self-motivation and a desire for success
Strong desire to work with people

Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
Ability to successfully pass background checks and drug screen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
