The Automobile Detailing Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the aesthetic and functional integrity of both new and used vehicles at our dealership. This role demands a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong commitment to quality service. The manager will oversee the entire automobile detailing team, ensuring the efficient operation of the detailing department, from supply management to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the automobile detailing team's schedule, including hiring and training new staff members.
- Oversee the ordering and maintenance of supplies and equipment necessary for vehicle detailing.
- Implement and maintain thorough record-keeping practices for all detailing operations.
- Personally undertake and supervise the cleaning, buffing, waxing, and overall refurbishment of automobiles, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship.
- Conduct comprehensive interior cleaning of vehicles, including shampooing, vacuuming, and cleaning.
- Manage the cleaning of engine compartments and the dressing of tires and exterior trim.
