Automation Engineer with Security Clearance

This position is a fully remote opportunity but the candidate needs to have a residence in the state of Maine. The team is going to be a total of 7 people. Any weather experience is a plus. The Prime contractor is Huntington Ingalls Industries. The team will have an in person kick off meeting which will also include the Senator Maine. Automation Engineer:
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for identifying process flows and implementing automation solutions, particularly focusing on AWS services. The ideal candidate will have experience enhancing cloud data information and migration, automating CI/CD processes, and supporting automated testing. An active Clearance or the ability to obtain one is required for this role. Key Responsibilities:

• Identify process flows and potential automation solutions to improve efficiency and scalability.

• Implement automation techniques, particularly leveraging AWS services.

• Collaborate with teams to design and implement automation solutions that meet business needs.

• Enhance cloud data information and migration processes to ensure data integrity and security.

• Further automate the CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) process to streamline software delivery.

• Support automated testing and other process-related functions to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Experience with cross-product cloud solutions to integrate and automate workflows efficiently.
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• years of experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role.

• Experience with AWS services and cloud technologies.

• Strong understanding of automation principles and techniques.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.

• Experience with cross-product cloud solutions for integration and automation.

• Ability to obtain or currently possess a security clearance.

• Experience with weather systems or related industries is a plus.
