Automation Engineer

The Fountain Group is currently seeking an Automation Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in West Point, PA. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

$45-$48/HR to start.

6-month assignment (with potential to extend or convert based on performance and budget).

Main responsibilities include:

Provide automation system support and expertise to assist the manufacture of quality vaccine products to meet site priorities.

Designing, implementing, testing, and closing out change controls for automation related corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Supporting all automation system components of the processes including on the shop floor support of manufacturing activities.

Participate in investigations of automation incidents and problems to prevent recurrence including the development and implementation of corrective actions.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in engineering or related field required (bachelors recommended).

3+ years in process automation or equivalent experience in pharmaceutical/ biotechnology industry is required.

Must have technical and operational expertise in automation control systems such as Emerson DeltaV, AB PLC, Factory talk, SCADA, Windows operating systems, network infrastructure, SQL, etc.

Knowledge of S88 Batch Standard is a plus.
