We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Automation Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, designing and implementing cutting-edge automation solutions. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, programming, simulating, and testing automated machinery and processes to complete exact tasks. This role requires a thorough understanding of the latest automation technologies, the ability to troubleshoot complex systems, and the creativity to develop innovative solutions to meet our clients' unique needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, program, simulate, and test automated machinery and processes to complete precise tasks.
  • Develop and maintain PLC, SCADA, DCS, and MES systems.
  • Create detailed documentation outlining design and technical specifications of each automation project.
  • Troubleshoot and repair automation systems and equipment to ensure they operate efficiently and reliably.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to integrate automation systems into existing systems and processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members on automation technology and best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to ensure the safe operation of automated systems and equipment.
  • Stay current with the latest automation technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 months (entry level) to 3+ years of experience in automation engineering, specifically with PLC, Rockwell, SCADA, DCS, MES, Automation Systems, and Process Automation.
  • Proven ability to design, program, and troubleshoot complex automation systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, and computer hardware and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative automation solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical team members and clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.
  • Willingness to stay current with the latest automation technologies and industry trends.
