PVC provides engineering, mapping and design services for cable, telephony and utility customers. PVC excels in radio frequency (RF) and optical fiber system design for broadband systems. PVC is a subsidiary of Dycom Industries Inc. Overview: Precision Valley Communications is seeking to fill the role of AutoLISP engineer. This position will design, create, assess, and troubleshoot software programs and applications based upon understood business needs. This includes configuring, coding, developing and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for developing custom Lisp programs and scripts to enhance the functionality of AutoCAD, streamline design processes, and improve overall efficiency. Qualifications Qualifications: Programmer with Engineering Applications experience Strong programming skills in: AutoLISP, Experience in one of the following: Bentley Products ( MicroStation V8i, CONNECT, ProjectWise, PLS-CADD ) or Autodesk Products (AutoCAD, Inventor, Vault) In-depth software troubleshooting and debugging experience. Strong data management skills. Experience in data modeling and visualization. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
