We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated AutoCAD Technician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for detail-oriented work and a strong background in 2D drafting, CAD programming, and solidworks. This role will require a hands-on approach, with the candidate expected to be involved in every step of the design and manufacturing process. Responsibilities:

1. Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed 2D designs and drafts for manufacturing processes, including sheet metal fabrication.
2. Collaborate with engineers and other professionals on design projects, offering expert input and suggestions for improvement.
3. Review and modify existing drawings, ensuring all designs are accurate and up to date.
4. Develop complex layout and design for products and systems as per the specifications provided.
5. Maintain and manage all drawings and schematics, ensuring they comply with company standards and client requirements.
6. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues that may arise during the production process.
7. Participate in project meetings, providing updates and feedback on design processes.
8. Continuously learn and stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in CAD technology.

Qualifications:

1. Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Aided Design or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an AutoCAD Technician, AutoCAD Engineer, or similar role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAD, 2D CAD, 2D Drafting, CAD programming, and solidworks.
4. Extensive experience with sheet metal design and fabrication.
5. Strong technical design skills with a keen eye for detail.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to overcoming design challenges.
7. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex design concepts to non-technical team members.
9. Commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in CAD technology.
