We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Audit Senior to join our thriving finance team. This is an exceptional opportunity for those who have a keen interest in real estate and affordable housing, and who want to leverage their skills in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. As a Permanent Audit Senior, you will play a key role in our financial operations, ensuring the integrity and reliability of our financial data, and helping to drive our strategic financial decisions.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Audit Senior, your duties will include:

1. Planning, executing, and leading audit engagements in the real estate and affordable housing sectors.
2. Overseeing the audit process from start to finish, ensuring that audits are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Reviewing financial statements and related disclosures to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
4. Identifying and communicating accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners.
5. Building relationships with clients and providing high quality client service.
6. Identifying opportunities for new business with existing clients and communicating these opportunities to the appropriate firm personnel.
7. Training, supervising, and mentoring junior staff.
8. Participating in the recruitment of new staff.
9. Contributing to the firm's initiatives in terms of process improvement, training development, and operational strategy.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the role of Permanent Audit Senior, candidates must possess:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, preferably within a CPA firm.
2. A deep understanding of the real estate industry and affordable housing.
3. A CPA license or equivalent.
4. Strong technical skills in accounting and auditing.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. The ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment.
7. Strong leadership, recruiting, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
8. Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
9. Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and audit preparation software.
10. A high level of integrity and sensitivity to confidential information.
