Audio Visual Engineer

Overview:

The AV Engineer is responsible for all aspects of AV projects lifecycle from project conception thru installation and turnover. The AV Engineer will design all AV systems and will be responsible for delivery of artifacts produced at different phases of each project such as detailed drawing sets, bill of materials (BOM) creation, control system programming, and system implementation plans. The AV Engineer will also provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing systems.

Responsibilities:
Provide technical expertise to support the architecture, installation and planning of audio, video, and control solutions
Create technical drawings such as - detailed system diagram, system interconnect, rack elevation, floor plan, wall elevations
Programming Crestron control system processors, experience writing and editing Crestron SIMPL code
Designing and editing control system GUI layouts
Implementing and testing of control system code
Develop implementation plans, test plans, and training material
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment installation and removal, basic system testing and operation
Required Experience/Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years Audio Visual experience
Understanding of network topography and design
Proficient in AutoCAD
Crestron CTI Programming certification
Special Requirements/Security Clearance:
Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance
Must possess CTS certification (preferably CTS-D)
