Job Details

We are looking for an Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a deep understanding of bankruptcy court proceedings. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and services to our clients, representing them in court, and ensuring their rights and interests are protected. The Permanent Attorney will also be expected to maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice to clients regarding bankruptcy, including Chapter 7, 11, and 13 cases, and other related legal matters.
2. Represent clients in bankruptcy court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
3. Draft, review, and file legal documents, including petitions, schedules, motions, and pleadings.
4. Conduct thorough case research to identify legal issues and develop effective strategies.
5. Interact with clients, court officials, creditors, and other parties to gather relevant information and protect client interests.
6. Stay updated on the latest laws, regulations, and trends in bankruptcy law to provide accurate advice and proactive solutions.
7. Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent customer service and communication.
8. Collaborate with the legal team to ensure a comprehensive legal approach to client cases.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney, with a strong focus on bankruptcy court proceedings.
3. Active and in good standing member of the state Bar.
4. Proven track record of representing clients in bankruptcy cases.
5. Exceptional knowledge of federal and state bankruptcy laws, court procedures, and legal protocols.
6. Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple cases with varying degrees of complexity.
8. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
