Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in a wide range of insurance defense cases, including personal injury, automobile, property damage, construction defect, professional liability, and employment liability.
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients, ensuring they are fully informed of their rights, options, and legal implications.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, appeals, and contracts.
  • Conduct extensive legal research to support client cases and stay abreast of changes in law.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to resolve cases efficiently and favorably.
  • Develop and implement effective defense strategies to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Participate in trials, presenting evidence, and making persuasive arguments in favor of our clients.
  • Collaborate with a team of legal professionals, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the overall success of our firm.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, specifically in insurance defense.
  • Proven experience in handling cases related to personal injury, automobile, property damage, construction defect, professional liability, and employment liability.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and a proven track record of successful case settlements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • A high degree of professional ethics, integrity, and a commitment to client confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
