PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Athletic Field Marker is responsible for the accurate marking of all athletic fields in the school district.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Graduate or GED preferred At least two years experience in the field Dependable and cooperative
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the marking of all football, baseball, softball, soccer, and track facilities.

• Ensure that an adequate inventory of supplies and materials is kept in stock.

• Ensures that all work orders are completed and submitted in a timely manner to office staff.

• Ensures that marking equipment is maintained properly.

• Maintains a dimension log of all athletic fields.

• Performs all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or to others.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

EQUIPMENT USED:

• Lawn mower, edger, weed trimmer, tractor mower, district vehicle, post hole digger, chain saw, marking machine and tractor accessories, dry line markers and field stripers

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Strenuous walking, standing, pushing, pulling, heavy lifting and carrying, working in extreme weather conditions, exposure to dust, working on slippery or uneven walking surfaces
