About this Position:

The Assistant Zone Manager Parts & Service Operations supports the Zone Parts & Service Manager in activities aimed at the improvement of Honda/Acura Customer Satisfaction (Treatment / Convenience / Fix First Visit), Customer Retention, parts and accessories sales business, repair order growth, the Express Service & Accelerated Service initiatives, and Initial Quality Satisfaction of Honda/Acura products. The AZM is primarily responsible for guiding, supporting and setting the performance expectations of the zone's DPSM's daily activities in addition to achievement of any other assigned areas of responsibility, tasks or projects. AZM is also responsible to maintain the brand protection and interest of AHM and the Honda/Acura Brands.


Responsibilities include:

  • Achievement of customer satisfaction "Convenience" objectives
  • Achievement of customer satisfaction "Treatment" objectives
  • Achievement of customer satisfaction "Overall CSE/ACE" objectives
  • Achievement of Honda and Acura Parts Sales and Accessories Sales objectives
  • Achievement of Assigned Fixed Right First Visit Objectives
  • Achievement of Assigned "Dealer Visit" objectives
  • Achievement of Vehicle Service Contract Sales Objective

Who we are seeking:

We are looking for qualified people and diverse background and experiences, open minds, and a disciplined work ethic, to bring the future to Honda.


Required Work Experience:

  • 4-year automotive management degree or equivalent work experience
  • 6-8 years of related work experience including interacting with dealerships on a wholesale and retail level (preferably as Sr. District Parts & Service Manager.)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing associates remotely
  • Marketing experience as it relates to express service metro market campaigns and parts / accessory sales improvements at the dealership level

Required Education:

  • 4-year automotive management degree or equivalent work experience

Desired skills:

Must have strong customer relations skills, strategic business planning skills to support major areas of responsibility, target marketing skills, knowledgeable of warranty administration, parts and service policy and procedures.

Strong understanding of Honda/Acura Dealers' Parts & Service operations and Honda/Acura financial statement and EXAM data

Must be proficient in the use of analysis, action planning and follow up to achieve assigned business objectives

Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation), analytical, planning, conceptual and organizational skills are required

This position requires frequent travel and possible future relocation.
