Grade: 104 Salary: $9.53 Hourly Department: Parks and Recreation E-mail: ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS: Non rotating 15 hour work week, end of school day - 6pm, Monday through Friday. Must be able to work additional hours as needed by department. Responsibilities The essential duties for this position are as follows: Must possess strong communication and leadership skills to appropriately address any needs expressed by children 5 to 13 years of age; must use good judgment to effectively supervise a group of at least 20 children; have skills in instructing a variety of recreational programs; must be able to administer first aid/CPR, and must have clerical skills to complete required reports. Implements weekly lesson plans and schedules of site/center, providing instruction when necessary. Deliver daily deposits to financial institution as required. Provide good customer service to internal and external customers. May be asked to perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Requires a High School Diploma or GED. A valid driver's license is preferred at time of application and hire. Must obtain CPR and First Aid certifications prior to job assignment. Other information: Basis of Rating One on one interview.
