Two tenure-track/tenured Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor positions in the School of Psychology and Counseling with specialty in Clinical Psychology. Both positions are for teaching and research in the School's APA-Accredited Clinical Psychology Ph.D. Program and clinical supervision of students in training at Center for Psychological services (CPS), our in-house community clinic. The positions include teaching, research, service, research and clinical supervision of students in the School's doctoral-level programs. The eligible candidate must hold a Doctorate in Psychology by the time the position begins and must demonstrate evidence of a strong commitment to both teaching and scholarly achievement, commensurate with the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. For one position, preference will be given to candidates with experience in child assessment and treatment as well as the ability to supervise child assessment and treatment. For the second position, candidates should have experience in adult assessment and treatment and supervision of adult cases. Areas of research and teaching focus are open for both positions. The candidate will join the clinical psychology core faculty. All clinical faculty serve as clinical supervisors. Therefore, the candidate must be licensed or license eligible to practice in New Jersey. The candidate should show interest in future leadership positions within the Ph.D. program. Required Qualifications: The School of Psychology and Counseling has two campuses in New Jersey. This position will be located on the Metropolitan Campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University in Northern New Jersey. The Metropolitan campus offers Doctoral Programs in Clinical and School Psychology; Master's Programs in Psychopharmacology, Forensic Psychology, General Theoretical Psychology, and School Psychology; and an Undergraduate Program in Psychology with tracks in forensic psychology, mental health, organizational behavior, and consumer psychology. The Florham campus offers graduate programs in I/O Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
