What are we looking for in our Associate Scientific Services Specialist?
The Scientific Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a world-class pharmaceutical organization that has an opening for Instrument Support Specialist (FACS) near Boston, MA 02120.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on FACS equipment, including timely start-up/shutdown and QC/QA procedures following SOPs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve routine issues with FACS equipment.
- Manage inventory of basic supplies and coordinate service visits by technicians.
- Assist with scheduling, calendar management, and operation of cytometers and sorters.
- Respond promptly to queries and communications from flow labs to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Familiarize oneself with all software used in the facility.
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate Degree with 0-2 years of experience in a scientific or lab environment, OR
- High School Diploma with 2+ years of experience in a scientific or lab environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in a scientific field.
- Previous experience in a laboratory environment.
- Ideal candidates will have prior experience with flow cytometry systems.
Additional Details:
- Onsite position
- Position type: 12 months contract opportunity
- Pay rate: $28-$32/hr depending on experience
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
